It holds high protein, dietary fiber, iron, copper, calcium, magnesium and zinc. Its high phosphorous content aids in many healing health benefits. Black grams are excellent sources of isoflavones which are essential phytochemicals that involves in antioxidant activity for maintaining body metabolism and prevents age related diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, osteoporosis, and hormone related cancer.
