Product Description:
Daivik’s Cube Jaggery is made by concentrating the sugarcane extract that contains colloidal matter, inorganic salts, fiber, various nitrogenous substances, lipids, gums, wax organic acid, inorganic acid, and pectin. The sugarcane extracted is concentrated in a very large, flat-bottomed pan and is boiled until it gets transformed into a dough form. The dough form is then poured into round molds and allowed to cool down. Jaggery is loaded with antioxidants and minerals like zinc and selenium, which help prevent free-radicals. It acts as a detox, as it helps cleanse the liver by flushing out nasty toxins from the body. It also eases digestion and prevents constipation.
Usage:
Organic Cube Jaggery can be coarsely crushed and used as a healthy replacement for white sugar. It is widely used as sweetener in traditional delicacies such as pongal, payasam, appam, kesari and in decoctions. It is also used in making toffees and in baking cakes, muffins and cookies. It can also be used to sweeten beverages such as tea, coffee and hot milk.
