Daivik’s Organic Vellakar Idly /Dosa Rice are a staple short creamy white grain that is predominantly grown in South India. It also shows better resistance to insects and infestation and can be stored for a longer period of time without getting prone to bugs. It is an excellent source of thiamine, magnesium, niacin. It also contains small traces of protein, zinc, and iron. It is easily digestible because of its soft texture. It contains enough fiber and carbohydrates that cures gastro intestinal problems. It also contains all essential nutrients and enables the body to maintain a normal metabolism. It is exclusively used for making tiffin items rather than consuming it as normal rice

Usage :

This rice can be soaked for thirty minutes before using it for either cooking or for making fermented batter. It goes good with urad dal and is ideally suited for tiffin items like idly, dosa, panniyaram
