Daivik’s white Basmati Rice is typical long, slender vibrant white rice with an enchanting aroma. It is produced by removing the outer bran which is the outer husk or the covering of the grain from the brown basmati rice. The germ part from which the grains grow into new plants is also removed leaving only the starchy part. The nutritional values of this rice are very similar to other white rice varieties. It has very less amount of arsenic and contains vital vitamins and minerals. It has comparatively low calories unlike any other long grain rice. It has low glycemic values which releases its energy slowly keeping the blood sugar level more stable. 

Usage :

It is not necessary to soak this rice. It can be soaked to the maximum of fifteen minutes to obtain a softer and mushy texture. Basmati rice is ideally suited for making biriyani, fried rice, pulao, ghee rice and a variety of continental delicacies.
