Daivik’s Organic Sooji Rava is a wheat product and is called semolina which is made by milling the husked wheat and is predominantly used in Indian Cuisine. They are the rich sources of antioxidants, vitamins, fibers and traces of minerals like iron, zinc, copper, magnesium. It contains insoluble fibers that passes through the digestive tract keeping it intact thereby reducing the risk of constipation. The main fiber in sooji rava is arabinoxylan which is a form of hemicellulose that strengthens cell wall and enhances cell metabolism in body. They are also abundant in carbohydrates and are moderate in proteins. It is very easily digestible and prevents gastrointestinal discomforts. 

Usage :

Sooji rava is very light to cook and is easily digestible. It is used for preparing many savory delicacies such as rava idly, rava dosa and upma. It is also used for making sweet dishes such as rava laddo, rava halwa and kesari which is a combination of rava, cardamom powder and seasonings.
