Daivik’s Organic White Sona Masoori Rice is a slender medium sized creamy white grain grown mainly in Andra Pradesh and Karnataka. It is characterized to have light weight and low starch thus very easily digestible. Mostly it is used as unpolished grains thereby retaining all its nutritional value comparative to other polished rice verities. It has very few carbohydrate contents and serves as a healthy nutritional replacement for the normal rice. It contains very low traces of protein, fat and cholesterol. It is capable of withstanding natural climatic changes and is a diseases resistant variety and can be stored for long period of time.

Usage :

The grains should be soaked for 10 minutes before cooking and can be cooked for twenty minutes without pressure pan at a ratio of two cups of water for every one cup of rice. It is ideal for preparing biriyani, pulao, fried rice, idly, dosa and Pongal.
