Daivik’s Organic Wheat Rava is made by milling the husked wheat and is predominantly used in Indian Cuisine. Wheat Rava or as referred to Samba Ravai in the Kongu region of Tamilnadu is been a staple, healthy and nutritious dish relished by everyone. They are the rich sources of antioxidants, vitamins, fibers and traces of minerals like iron, zinc, copper, magnesium. It contains insoluble fibers that pass through the digestive tract keeping it intact thereby reducing the risk of constipation. The main fiber in wheat rava is arabinoxylan which is a form of hemicelluloses that strengthens cell wall and enhances cell metabolism in body. They are also abundant in carbohydrates and are moderate in proteins. It is very easily digestible and prevents gastrointestinal discomforts. 

Usage :

Wheat rava is very light to cook and is easily digestible. It is used for preparing many savory delicacies such as rava idly, rava dosa, upma. It is also used for making godhumai rava adai by adding desirable types of lentils and samba rava. This does not require fermenting and serves as an excellent nutritious breakfast. It tastes great with curd as well.
