Daivik’s Organic Karuppu Kauvni Rice or Black Cargo rice which are glutinous in nature has a deep black colored bran that turns deep purple over cooking. Its pigmentation is caused due to the presence of high levels of anthocyanin phytochemicals that reduces the LDL cholesterol, also known as the bad cholesterol. It thereby promotes heart health.  It comparatively takes longer time to get cooked because of its rich fiber content. It is enriched with proteins and micro nutrients and serves as a best alternative for regular rice verities hence making your food delightful and wholesome parallelly. Usage :
