Daivik’s Organic Chick Pea, also known as Garbanzo or Chi chi beans is a lustrous creamy white legume with a pleasant nutty flavor. Chickpea being one of the oldest cash crops is rainfed and is greatly adaptable to organic farming. Chickpeas serve as a superfood for those who cut down meat in their diet as they are high sources of protein. It is so healthful as it contains all the essential nutrients like folate, iron, calcium, vitamins and other minerals. They are enriched with antioxidants that prevent the accumulation of free radicals which are the key cause of many health problems including cancer.  

Usage :

Chick Peas should be soaked for ten hours or overnight before cooking. It can be pressure cooked to obtain a soft cooked pea. Most often it is used as a base flavor for hummus (a savory dip).Chickpeas are ideally suited for curries, salads, and is also used for making savory dips.
