Daivik’s Organic Mud Packed Toor Dal or Mannkattiya Thuvaram Paruppu is one of the exotic healthful dals exclusively processed by an artisan group of farmers in South India. The toor is specially packed in red soil and naturally sun dried for 2 week before it is traditionally de-skinned.  They are enriched with dietary fiber and contains very low-fat levels that helps to regulate body weight. They contain folic acid which is very necessary for the development of red blood cells and is greatly advisable for pregnant women to nourish the fetus. The richness of iron and folate in toor dal greatly helps in curing iron deficiency anemia and boosts iron levels in body.   

Usage:

Toor dal should be soaked for thirty minutes to one hour before cooking. It is rich in protein and a versatile ingredient found widely in the households of Indian subcontinent. It is staple and goes well with a wholesome combination of vegetables and a wide range of ingredients to make sambhar an ideal curry in Southern India and other Sabzis.
