Daivik’s Organic Kullakar Rice is an ancient rice variety primarily grown in India. This is naturally hardy and pest resistant thereby reducing the dependence on synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. It takes less duration for growth and hence it can be grown throughout the year in all the three seasons. It is enriched with nutrients and antioxidants. It comparatively has more zinc and iron contents than any other white rice. It has complex carbohydrates, high flavonoid and proanthocyanin contents that helps to fight foreign germs and microbes entering the body. It is highly favorable for maintaining a firm healthy body. It has relatively high medicinal values.
Usage :
It should be soaked six to eight hours before cooking. It requires three cups of water for every one cup of rice. It is ideal for making traditional delights such as idly, porridge, Vada and also makes a wholesome combination with sambhar and rasam.
