Daivik’s Organic Aathur Kichili Samba rice is a distinct south Indian variety that is predominantly noted for its accentuating taste with traditional curries such as sambhar rasam and other varieties. It is notably small in size and completely retains organic goodness in it. It contains high levels of calcium and iron.  It has Relatively low Glycemic Index of 50, hence suitable for diabetics. Kichili is the mother DNA to all the popular IR varieties of rice. Some of the prominent variants are Athur Kichili Samba, Arcot Kichili Samba and Ottu kichili Samba Rice. This rice has a unique flavor and was consumed by members of royal family during ancient days. 

Usage :

This rice should be soaked two to three hours before cooking. It is used for preparing a wide range of delicacies such as biriyani, fried rice, sweet kozhukattai and are more suitable for tiffin items.
