Daivik’s Organic Salem Sanna Rice is a white rice white is of very fine quality. It is an incredible ingredient of Mangalorean cuisine. It is named after the place “Salem” the place from which it originated. It is a completely nature-friendly crop that grows without any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and it makes a wholesome organic delight. It is rich in antioxidants, antibiotics which greatly uplift the functioning of immune system. It also induces the secretion of growth hormones and aids in efficient functioning of internal organs of the body. It gives a lingering flavor and is mostly used to make sweet dishes. 

Usage :

The rice should be soaked for two to three hours before cooking. The old cooked rice also gives good flavor and aroma. It is predominantly used for the preparation of sweet Pongal.
